FAQ
Who is Design Camp for?
Because we carefully curate small, intimate groups based on years in business, Design Camp is truly crafted for interior designers at any stage of their business, as we focus on key content pillars to scale your studio. We welcome designers just starting their business looking for an incomparable foundation to their career, right alongside seasoned veterans ready to step out of the day to day to refresh and work on their business. Small group sessions consist of the same content no matter the group, but we've found this strategy to have the most applicable questions answered and camper dialog during the session rotations.
When do tickets go on sale?
Regular full-priced tickets, payment plans, and team bundles will be available starting May 1, 2026.
How much does Design Camp cost?
Design Camp 2026 tickets are $5,250 per person. Tickets typically sell out quickly, so please make sure to have made arrangements with your credit card to have the smoothest checkout possible. For the first time, we also have a discounted team rate of $9,500 for two attendees coming from the same design studio. Please note, hotel and airfare are not included in the ticket price.
What is included in the ticket price?
All meals, beverages, snacks and cocktails from the time of registration to the final goodbye are included. Your ticket price includes all printed course materials at the event including a 200 page course workbook, sample client process documents, professional headshots, all keynote sessions and meet-and-greets, and lots and lots of surprise gifts. Accommodations are not included in the ticket price, giving you flexibility to share a room, stay off-site, commute from home, or enjoy the discounted room block at The Austin Proper Hotel.
How many people attend design camp?
There will be approximately 60 interior designers in attendance from around the world, plus our keynote speakers and our respective teams. The event is a beautiful combination of large group keynotes and intimate, small round table discussions with experts in their field.
Are hotel rooms included in the ticket price?
In order to make Design Camp more inclusive and accessible, hotel rooms are not included in the ticket price. This allows campers to book their own room, share a room with a fellow camper, stay off site, or even stay at home if they are local. After purchasing your ticket, you will receive access to an exclusive discounted rate of $329/night at The Austin Proper, with all resort fees waived.
Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! Immediately after you purchase your ticket, you’ll be prompted to complete a camper questionnaire that asks for any dietary restrictions, allergies and medical needs you may have. Your comfort and safety are our top priority, so never hesitate to ask a staff member for assistance.
Will I get to meet the keynote speakers?
Yes! Our keynote speakers are excited to join you for happy hour, arranged meet and greets and dinners. There will be ample time for photos and chatting with our special guests.
Can I bring someone from my team?
Absolutely! We love hosting individual designers, teams, and partners. Every person is required to have their own individual ticket to Design Camp, but you're welcome to share rooms to save on travel expenses. For the first time ever, we're offering a Design Team Bundle ticket option, saving $500 per ticket. Please make note of your teammate in your registration questionnaire so we can be sure to place your team together in our small group round table sessions.
Are you offering scholarships this year?
Once again, we are honored to award two deserving interior designers scholarships to Design Camp. Scholarship applications will open June 1, 2026 and will close on June 25, 2026. The application process includes a series of business intensive questions and an open ended design presentation component. Scholarship winners will receive a complimentary ticket to Design Camp and shared accommodations at The Austin Proper hotel. Travel is not included in the scholarship.
